The Effectiveness of Emotion-Communication Skills Training on Cognitive Emotion Regulation, Parental Self-Efficacy and Child Acceptance in Mothers of Children with Learning Disabilities

The aim of this study was to investigate the effect emotional communication skills training on emotion regulation, parental self-efficacy and child acceptance in mothers children with special learning disabilities. statistical population consisted all students Sampling method accessible that participants were selected from disabilities who referred clinics under supervision education Shiraz. Of 32 participants, 15 assigned experimental group 17 control group, randomly. After pretest, trained ten sessions, while did not receive any specific intervention. Then, post-test performed for both groups. Garnefski Cognitive Emotion Regulation Questionnaire (CERQ), Dumka Parental Self Agency Measure (PSAM) Acceptance (PAQ) used collect data. results indicated groups had significant differences variables cognitive acceptance. In general, findings supported effectiveness emotional-communication regulation characteristics personality parents.
